These 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" (5.7-6.4cm) blooms take their shape from violacea and are lightly fragrant.
This is a first bloom seedling.
This plant has been in bloom for a year, and just won 1st place in its class at the 2001 NH Orchid Society show.
